The Concert is based on Donizetti’s drama of Ravenswood, Lucia di Lammermoor interpreted by the Soprano Dora Cardone who appears for the first time with MLO, the fine Tenor Lievens Castillo and the great Cuban Baritone Nelson Martinez. The Masked Ball (Ballo in Maschera) will take an important part of the Concert by presenting the most brilliant parts of the opera including the famous aria “Eri tu” the great arias and duos of the soprano and tenor, la great Aria “Re dell’abisso” of the Mezzo Soprano and many other arias duos and ensemble.
